Brokeback mountain

Brokeback Moutain, based on a short story written by E. Annie Proulx detailing the epic love story between a Wyoming ranch hand and a rodeo cowboy who met in the summer of 1963.

Ooo.. No tuition today!! Initial plan was to slack whole day.. but my cousin, Joyce, called and i end up going out with my aunt, cousin and aunt's best friend (Chee Boon) for dinner in mache and we caught the movie, Brokeback Mountain! Yesh... another movie... and YESH... another movie about sexual issues! Whats wrong with you Missy? I dunno.. maybe I'm having some sexual identity crisis...so these movies helped!! Haha.. kidding.. I'm just being nonsensical!

Cutie Hunks during their first summer in Brokeback as sheep herders

Ok Ok... back to the movie! This show starred Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal. In 1963, a passionate love ignites between a rodeo cowboy and a ranch hand. The short summer love turns into a life long loving relationship and resulted in deep, passionate yearning for each other. Think the story should be viewed and admired more in the aspect of.. the kind of connection two humans can have rather than... Oooo Eeee its a gay show.. Yucks... the two hunks are making out! Though I agree it can be quite disturbing for some (Like Rujin {Esther's Darling} who had his MSN Nick "Stupid Brokeback" for weeks!), try looking beyond. Think the emphasis on two guys making out is too overwhelming and its of the wrong focus! hehe...

This is the sad last part.. "I promise"

Hmm.. somehow reminds me of my relationship with Yuri. A summer relationship that somehow had a certain impact in my life. Probably not as affectionate and deep (I hope its not.. else I would die) as the show but its definitely something that affect me quite alot! Hmmz... SAD!

The Best Romance are Often Sadly, Romance that Cannot be attained
Ok... Something which I forgotten to add n YJ reminded me.. My first Salsa's experience!! Haha... After the show, Joyce and me went to a salsa's club in Amara Hotel at Tanjong Pagar. Its kinda different from the clubs and pubs (U know.. Zouk, Momo, China Black n stuff) I've been to, where some people dance hysterically under the music volume which is beyond human's healthy decible range. Anyway, the dancing area has lines drawn on the floor, I figured that it's probably for people to enjoy their dance without causing much disturbance to neighbouring dancing couples. The music played are salsa dancing kind of music (U know.. Latin and stuff), at a volume level where normal conversation can be held.
The club, on a whole, is a nice, new experience except for the sugar daddy part! Haha.. two daddies tried to pick me up for a dance!! Hahaha... offered to teach me to dance when I said its my first time here! Offered me beers and drinks when its ladies night!! Hahaha! Hello Uncles... I can get free drinks Ooo! Will definitely visit the club again.. but will dress up more appropriately (I went with slippers and 3/4 jeans) the next time.
